From April, I will be contributing twice a month to the paper. Yay, me! So here is the first for the month, a little bit about my ethnicity and my country:
I am amused that I am listed as “Indian” on my official documents. I am that. But I am so much more than that.
And if you want to get philosophical, I might not even be that. Because, you know, some things are beyond ethnicity.
Putting me in a little box “Indian” is something that people do all the time. “Father”, “mother”, “manager”, “Eurasian”, “rich”, “politician” – these are boxes that others put us in.
But we know we are so much more than that. Some things transcend those boxes.
